The installation of this alkaline filter is easy and convenient thanks to the 1/4" JG quick-connect fittings. These fittings allow for simple connection and disconnection during filter changes, without the need for any tools. The cap and body of the inline filters are spin-welded together to create a reliable and consistent seal, reducing the risk of sediment and biofilm build-up.

This alkaline filter is designed as an all-in-one solution, making it a perfect add-on kit for any water filtration system. The kit comes well packed with quality tools, including 5 ft of premium grade tubing for easy installation.

The calcite acid cartridge in this filter adds 2-5 ppm of hardness to the water, effectively reducing the corrosiveness of low TDS water. Constructed from food-grade materials and media, this filter delivers neutral effluent from acidic feed water as low as pH 5. Calcite has the advantage of being self-limiting, meaning it corrects pH levels only enough to reach a non-corrosive equilibrium without over-correcting under normal conditions.
